Equilibria in reflexive Banach lattices with a continuum of agents. [PDF]
We consider exchange economies with a measure space of agents and for which the commodity space is a separable and reflexive Banach lattice. Under assumptions imposing uniform bounds on marginal rates of substitution, positive results on core-Walras ...

Monotonicity and rotundity properties in banach lattices
Some general results on geometry of Banach lattices are given. It is shown among others that uniform rotundity or rotundity coincide to uniform or strict monotonicity, respectively, on order intervals in positive cones of Banach lattices.

Plank theorems and their applications: A survey
Abstract Plank problems concern the covering of convex bodies by planks in Euclidean space and are related to famous open problems in convex geometry. In this survey, we introduce plank problems and present surprising applications of plank theorems in various areas of mathematics.

Solvability and Stability of Solutions of (q, τ)‐Fractional Integro‐Differential Models
In this paper, we investigate a set of nonlinear (q, τ)‐fractional Fredholm integrodifferential equations that involve memory‐type integral kernels and generalized fractional derivatives. Using a Galerkin technique based on (q, τ)‐Legendre polynomials, we designed an approximation solution and provided a numerical scheme for calculating the integral ...

On Banach lattices with Levi norms
Schmidt proved that an operator T from a Banach lattice E into a Banach lattice G with property ( P) is order bounded if and only if its adjoint is order bounded, and in this case T satisfies vertical bar parallel to T vertical bar parallel to=vertical ...

Characterization of Best Approximation Points with Lattice Homomorphisms
In this paper we prove some characterization theorems in the theory of best approximation in Banach lattices. We use a new idea for finding the best approximation points in an ideal.
