Examples of the Application of Nonparametric Information Geometry to Statistical Physics
We review a nonparametric version of Amari’s information geometry in which the set of positive probability densities on a given sample space is endowed with an atlas of charts to form a differentiable manifold modeled on Orlicz Banach spaces.

Banach Poisson-Lie groups and Bruhat-Poisson structure of the restricted Grassmannian [PDF]
The first part of this paper is devoted to the theory of Poisson-Lie groups in the Banach setting. Our starting point is the straightforward adaptation of the notion of Manin triples to the Banach context. The difference with the finite-dimensional case lies in the fact that a duality pairing between two non-reflexive Banach spaces is necessary weak ...

Constrained extremal solutions of multi-valued linear inclusions in Banach spaces
Let X and Y be Banach spaces, L be a linear manifold in X × Y $X\times Y$ , or, equivalently, the graph of a multi-valued linear operator from X to Y, and let S be a prescribed hyperplane in X, i.e. S = g + N $S=g+N$ .

Background. The area formulae are well known for surfaces embedded into a finite-dimensional Euclidean space. However, in the case of an infinite-dimensional Banach manifold, such formulae cannot be used.

Second order tangent bundles of infinite dimensional manifolds
The second order tangent bundle $T^{2}M$ of a smooth manifold $M$ consists of the equivalent classes of curves on $M$ that agree up to their acceleration.

Approximation of holomorphic mappings on strongly pseudoconvex domains
Let D be a relatively compact strongly pseudoconvex domain in a Stein manifold, and let Y be a complex manifold. We prove that the set A(D,Y), consisting of all continuous maps from the closure of D to Y which are holomorphic in D, is a complex Banach ...

Abstract We consider the global dynamics of finite energy solutions to energy‐critical equivariant harmonic map heat flow (HMHF) and radial nonlinear heat equation (NLH). It is known that any finite energy equivariant solutions to (HMHF) decompose into finitely many harmonic maps (bubbles) separated by scales and a body map, as approaching to the ...

A manifold structure for the group of orbifold diffeomorphisms of a smooth orbifold [PDF]
For a compact, smooth C^r orbifold (without boundary), we show that the topological structure of the orbifold diffeomorphism group is a Banach manifold for finite r \ge 1 and a Frechet manifold if r=infty.
