BLOCH FUNCTIONS ON COMPLEX BANACH MANIFOLDS

Mathematical Proceedings of the Royal Irish Academy, 2008
The notion of Bloch functions of one complex variable to holomorphic functions defined on a complex Banach manifold is extended. The main result shows that many of the characterisations of Bloch functions on the unit disk extend also to the case of complex Banach manifolds.

Continuation methods in Banach manifolds

Bulletin of the Brazilian Mathematical Society, New Series, 2007
Sufficient conditions are given to assert that a perturbed mapping has a zero in a Banach manifold modelled over ℝ n . The zero is estimated by means of sequences of Newton's iterations. The proof of the result is constructive and is based upon continuation methods.

Integral stable manifolds in Banach spaces

Journal of the London Mathematical Society, 2008
AbstractWe establish the existence of smooth integral stable manifolds for sufficiently small perturbations of nonuniform exponential dichotomies in Banach spaces. We also consider the case of a nonautonomous dynamics given by a sequence of C1 maps.

Measures on Banach Manifolds and Supersymmetric Quantum Field Theory

, 2005
We show how to construct measures on Banach manifolds associated to supersymmetric quantum field theories. These measures are mathematically well-defined objects inspired by the formal path integrals appearing in the physics literature on quantum field ...

Morse theory on Banach manifolds

Acta Mathematica Sinica, 1989
The paper contains a generalization of Morse theory for some general Banach manifolds. Results of this kind were previously obtained by Uhlenbeck and by Tromba by assuming the existence of a gradient-like vector field. The author avoids this assumption by means of a multi- valued gradient vector field.

RIEMANN DOMAINS OVER BANACH-GRASSMANN MANIFOLDS

Asian-European Journal of Mathematics, 2009
Let E be a complex Banach space with a Schauder basis and let G(E; r) be the Grassmann manifold of all r-dimensional complex linear subspaces in E. Let (ω, φ) be a Riemann domain over G(E; r) with ω ≠ G(E; r). Then we show that ω is a domain of existence if and only if ω is pseudoconvex.

Differentiable Closed Embeddings of Banach Manifolds

1970
In this paper a manifold X is a C k -manifold which is paracompact, normal, separable, and of differentiability class k, modelled on a separable Banach space B, whose norm is a k-times continuously differentiable function outside 0∈B, k≦ ∞. B with that norm is called a C k -Banach space.
