On Relative Reproducing Kernel Banach Spaces: Definitions, Semi-Inner Product and Feature Maps [PDF]

open access: yesSahand Communications in Mathematical Analysis, 2023
In this paper, a special class of relative reproducing kernel Banach spaces a semi-inner product is studied. We extend the concept of relative reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces to Banach spaces. We present these relative reproducing kernel Banach spaces

On Decoupling in Banach Spaces [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Theoretical Probability, 2021
AbstractWe consider decoupling inequalities for random variables taking values in a Banach space X. We restrict the class of distributions that appear as conditional distributions while decoupling and show that each adapted process can be approximated by a Haar-type expansion in which only the pre-specified conditional distributions appear.

Multismoothness in Banach Spaces [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2007
In this paper, motivated by the results published by R. Khalil and A. Saleh in 2005, we study the notion ofk-smooth points and the notion ofk-smoothness, which are dual to the notion ofk-rotundity. Generalizing these notions and combining smoothness with the recently introduced notion of unitary, we study classes of Banach spaces for which the vector ...

A Class of Hereditarily $ell_p(c_0)$ Banach spaces [PDF]

open access: yesSahand Communications in Mathematical Analysis, 2019
We extend the class of Banach sequence spaces constructed by Ledari, as presented in ''A class of hereditarily $ell_1$ Banach spaces without Schur property'' and obtain a new class of hereditarily $ell_p(c_0)$ Banach spaces for $1leq ...

Surjective isometries on Banach sequence spaces: A survey

open access: yesConcrete Operators, 2022
In this survey, we present several results related to characterizing the surjective isometries on Banach sequence spaces. Our survey includes full proofs of these characterizations for the classical spaces as well as more recent results for combinatorial

Fejér monotonicity and fixed point theorems with applications to a nonlinear integral equation in complex valued Banach spaces

open access: yesApplied General Topology, 2020
It is our purpose in this paper to prove some fixed point results and Fej´er monotonicity of some faster fixed point iterative sequences generated by some nonlinear operators satisfying rational inequality in complex valued Banach spaces.

K-frames for Banach Spaces

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, 2022
In order to reconstruct elements from the range of a linear bounded operator K on a separable Banach space, concepts of K-frames and K∗-atomic systems for Banach spaces are introduced, the relationship between the two is discussed, and the sufficient ...

On nonseparable Banach spaces [PDF]

open access: yesTransactions of the American Mathematical Society, 1982
Combining combinatorial methods from set theory with the functional structure of certain Banach spaces we get some results on the isomorphic structure of nonseparable Banach spaces. The conclusions of the paper, in conjunction with already known results, give complete answers to problems of the theory of Banach spaces.

On integration in Banach spaces, IV [PDF]

open access: yesCzechoslovak Mathematical Journal, 1970
This part of author's series dedicated to an integration theory for Banach space valued functions contains some complements and extensions of results from previous parts [especially Part III and Part V, same journal 29(104), 478-499 (1979; Zbl 0429.28011), ibid.

An ordering for the Banach spaces [PDF]

open access: yesPacific Journal of Mathematics, 1983
An ''ordering'' on the class of all Banach spaces is defined as follows: If X and Y are Banach spaces, then we say \(X\prec Y\) if \(X=\cap T^{**- 1}[Y],\) where the intersection is over all bounded linear operators T:\(X\to Y\). This holds if there is a Tauberian operator from X to Y, but also in other cases. Certain special cases are characterized: \(
