On Banach Spaces with Bases

open access: yesJournal of Functional Analysis, 1996
Let \(X\) be a separable Banach space and let \((U_n)\) be a sequence of linear operators \(U_n: X\to X\). \((U_n)\) factors uniformly \(\ell^{m_n}_p\)'s with respect to \(\lambda\), if there exists a sequence of positive integers \((m_n)\) and sequences of linear operators \((T_n)\), \((S_n)\), with \(T_n:X\to\ell^{m_n}_p\), \(S_n:\ell^{m_n}_p\to X ...

Equivalences of Nonlinear Higher Order Fractional Differential Equations With Integral Equations

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, Volume 48, Issue 6, Page 6930-6942, April 2025.
ABSTRACT Equivalences of initial value problems (IVPs) of both nonlinear higher order (Riemann–Liouville type) fractional differential equations (FDEs) and Caputo FDEs with the corresponding integral equations are studied in this paper. It is proved that the nonlinearities in the FDEs can be L1$$ {L}^1 $$‐Carathéodory with suitable conditions.

Abstract Boundary Delay Systems and Application to Network Flow

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This paper investigates the well‐posedness and positivity of solutions to a class of delayed transport equations on a network. The material flow is delayed at the vertices and along the edges. The problem is reformulated as an abstract boundary delay equation, and well‐posedness is proved by using the Staffans–Weiss theory.

On a class of translation-invariant spaces of quasianalytic ultradistributions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
A class of translation-invariant Banach spaces of quasianalytic ultradistributions is introduced and studied. They are Banach modules over a Beurling algebra. Based on this class of Banach spaces, we define corresponding test function spaces $\mathcal{D}^

Superprojective Banach spaces

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 2016
We study superprojective Banach spaces. We show that they cannot contain copies of ?1, which restricts the search for non-reflexive examples of these spaces. We also show that the class of superprojective spaces is stable under finite products, certain unconditional sums, certain tensor products, and other operations, providing new examples.

Cazenave‐Dickstein‐Weissler‐Type Extension of Fujita'S Problem on Heisenberg Groups

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This paper investigates the Fujita critical exponent for a heat equation with nonlinear memory posed on the Heisenberg groups. A sharp threshold is identified such that, for exponent values less than or equal to this critical value, no global solution exists, regardless of the choice of nonnegative initial data. Conversely, for exponent values

Generalized Hyers–Ulam Stability of Laplace Equation With Neumann Boundary Condition in the Upper Half‐Space

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This paper investigates the generalized Hyers–Ulam stability of the Laplace equation subject to Neumann boundary conditions in the upper half‐space. Traditionally, Hyers–Ulam stability problems for differential equations are analyzed by examining the system's error, particularly in relation to a forcing term.

Weighted Vector-Valued Holomorphic Functions on Banach Spaces

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2013
We study the weighted Banach spaces of vector-valued holomorphic functions defined on an open and connected subset of a Banach space. We use linearization results on these spaces to get conditions which ensure that a function f defined in a subset A of ...

Tensor products of abstract Besov spaces

open access: yesKarpatsʹkì Matematičnì Publìkacìï, 2013
We prove the interpolation theorem for tensor products of abstract Besov spaces, associated with closed operators in Banach spaces and show its application to the problems of approximations of elements of tensor products of Banach spaces.

On sequence spaces for Fr\'echet frames

open access: yes, 2008
We analyze the construction of a sequence space $\widetilde{\Theta}$, resp. a sequence of sequence spaces, in order to have $\{g_i\}$ as a $\widetilde{\Theta}$-frame or Banach frame for a Banach space $X$, resp. pre-$F$-frame or $F$-frame for a Fr\'echet
