Journal of Geophysical Research: Biogeosciences, Volume 131, Issue 8, August 2026.Abstract River discharge considerably influences marine ecosystems through hydrological and biogeochemical drivers. Measuring baseline variability of riverine inputs, and their relation to anthropogenic land‐use impacts and global climate stressors affecting watersheds is therefore crucial for managing coastal marine ecosystems.

Bancos naturales de Donax obesulus en el litoral de la Región Piura, Perú. 2014
, 2017 ABSTRAC: Results of the biological evaluation to identify and characterize natural banks of Donax obesulus and extraction areas on the coast of the Piura region are presented. The total population was estimated at 114.4 million individuals and biomass at 250 tons. The size structure was between 7 and 35 mm of valve length.

, 2017 Se efectuó evaluación biológica y oceanográfica en bancos naturales (intermareales y submareales) del litoral de Tumbes del 24 de mayo al 20 de junio 2014. En el intermareal se evaluaron 31 estaciones, y en el submareal 186 estaciones, mediante buceo semiautónomo; temperatura, pH y oxígeno disuelto (OD) tuvieron valores homogéneos.
