Compact metamaterial‐inspired band‐pass filter
Microwave and Optical Technology Letters, 2014ABSTARCTIn this article, a compact, metamaterial‐inspired band‐pass filter is introduced for the passband frequencies between 3.9 and 4.54 GHz with the physical size of main filtering section as compact as λo/11 ×λo/14. The design and operation principles are verified with numerical and experimental results. The measured and simulated results show good

Parallel Coupled Microstrip Band Pass Filter
2009 Second International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering & Technology, 2009Filters are significant RF and Microwave components. Lumped element filters are impractical for compact designs of wireless communications equipment, especially hand-held devices. Distributed element filter design offers a much smaller area and profile.

Band-pass filters are systems that allow the passing of signals within a band of frequencies, while attenuating the frequencies outside the defined ranged. The amount of attenuation the signals suffers outside the frequency range is dependent on the signals frequency and the order of the filter.

Narrowest band-pass digital FIR filters
2015 European Conference on Circuit Theory and Design (ECCTD), 2015A closed form design of narrowest possible bandpass finite impulse response filters is presented. The underlaying generating polynomial has equiripple behaviour in two separate intervals. A novel degree equation is introduced. One example demonstrates the functionality of the design procedure.

Oriented edge-selective band-pass filtering
Information Sciences, 2014Edge orientations play an important role in recognition due to their function as a primitive visual feature for various kinds of recognition tasks. Filter-based schemes are the most well-known and widely used method for analyzing edge orientation. However, the classical filter-based approach passes not only edges inside the preferred orientation band ...

Reconfigurable narrowband microwave band‐pass filter
International Journal of Circuit Theory and Applications, 2013AbstractA method is proposed for the design of band‐pass filters with tunable centre frequency and bandwidth without the need for adjusting the inter‐resonator couplings. This is achieved by cascading a quasi low‐pass filter and a quasi high‐pass filter, while minimizing interaction between the filters without the need for an isolator between the ...

SELF-TUNING BIQUAD BAND-PASS FILTER
Journal of Circuits, Systems and Computers, 2013One approach to design self-tuning gm-C biquad band-pass filter is considered in this paper. The phase control loop is introduced to force filter central frequency to be equal to input signal frequency what is achieved by adjusting the amplifier transconductance gm.

A new topology of narrowband band-pass filter based on modification of classical tapped-line interdigital coupled lines filters is presented. From a sensitivity point of view, this new topology appears as very attractive when designing very narrowband filters. Theoretical and experimental results in coplanar technology are presented.

A coupled SIR band pass filter
2011 7th Asia-Pacific International Conference on Lightning, 2011This paper proposed a stacked stepped impedance resonator design by using the basic stepped impedance resonator frequency controllable characteristics and stacked configuration in forming a band pass filter, and in further extension with some additional open stubs to suppress higher harmonic frequencies.

This paper reports a theoretical and experimental investigation of a microwave magnetically tunable band-pass filter. Based upon this work a filter, tunable over more than 1200 MHz at x band with a bandwidth in the range from 230 to 17 MHz having an insertion loss as low as 1 dB can be obtained.
