Practical Design of a Band-Pass Filter using EBG SIW Technology

European Microwave Conference, 2018
Periodic structures have proved to be useful for the practical design of waveguide filters. Starting from the dispersion diagram of a unit cell, it is possible to generate a finite structure with very similar pass- and stop-bands (gaps).

Multi-band Band-Pass Filters

2020
This chapter covers the fundamentals of low-pass, high-pass, band-pass, and band-stop filters. It also discusses dual-band band-pass filters employing dual-band resonators, which form the basis for the design of the dual-band band-pass filter-switches presented in this book.

HUMAN LOCALISATION OF BAND-PASS FILTERED NOISE

International Journal of Neural Systems, 1999
In this work we study the influence and relationship of five different acoustical cues to the human sound localisation process. These cues are: interaural time delay, interaural level difference, interaural spectrum, monaural spectrum, and band-edge spectral contrast.

Matched band-pass UHF filter

2016 13th International Scientific-Technical Conference on Actual Problems of Electronics Instrument Engineering (APEIE), 2016
The band-pass filter is considered. The filter has wide pass band and good matching not only in the pass band but also in the rejection band. The filter has steep band edges. The filtration quality of the filter corresponds to the quality of a bridge filter.

Tunable graphene-based mid-infrared band-pass planar filter and its application

Chinese Physics B, 2018
We have designed and proposed the edge modes supported by graphene ribbons and the planar band-pass filter consisting of graphene ribbons coupled to a graphene ring resonator by using the finite-difference time-domain numerical method. Simulation results

A tunable band-pass filter

IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 1966
This paper reports a theoretical and experimental investigation of a microwave magnetically tunable band-pass filter. Based upon this work a filter, tunable over more than 1200 MHz at x band with a bandwidth in the range from 230 to 17 MHz having an insertion loss as low as 1 dB can be obtained.

SELF-TUNING BIQUAD BAND-PASS FILTER

Journal of Circuits, Systems and Computers, 2013
One approach to design self-tuning gm-C biquad band-pass filter is considered in this paper. The phase control loop is introduced to force filter central frequency to be equal to input signal frequency what is achieved by adjusting the amplifier transconductance gm.

High-dielectric constant stripline band-pass filters

1991 IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium Digest, 1991
High dielectric constant (K=38) strip line was employed to realize selective bandpass filters. Seven-pole gap coupled filters centered at 6.04 GHz and 8.28 GHz were designed for 140 MHz 3-dB bandwidths. The data show excellent agreement without the need for tuners. Miniaturization of high performance filters is demonstrated.

Microstrip spurline band-pass filters

IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society International Symposium. 1999 Digest. Held in conjunction with: USNC/URSI National Radio Science Meeting (Cat. No.99CH37010), 2003
We present two novel spurline band-pass filters employing two and three parallel-coupled microstrip lines along with the approximate design equations. These filters exhibited insertion losses of less than 1 and 1.3 dB and return losses of more than 20 and 15 dB in the pass bands centered near 5 GHz. We obtained a good agreement between the measured and
