High-dielectric constant stripline band-pass filters

1991 IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium Digest, 1991
High dielectric constant (K=38) strip line was employed to realize selective bandpass filters. Seven-pole gap coupled filters centered at 6.04 GHz and 8.28 GHz were designed for 140 MHz 3-dB bandwidths. The data show excellent agreement without the need for tuners. Miniaturization of high performance filters is demonstrated.

Microstrip spurline band-pass filters

IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society International Symposium. 1999 Digest. Held in conjunction with: USNC/URSI National Radio Science Meeting (Cat. No.99CH37010), 2003
We present two novel spurline band-pass filters employing two and three parallel-coupled microstrip lines along with the approximate design equations. These filters exhibited insertion losses of less than 1 and 1.3 dB and return losses of more than 20 and 15 dB in the pass bands centered near 5 GHz. We obtained a good agreement between the measured and

Commensurate-line, microstrip, band-pass filters

1988., IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium Digest, 2003
The commensurate-line bandpass filter topology, also known as the shunt-shorted-stub topology, is considered. Kuroda's network transformations are used to synthesize bandwidth-dependent structures. The distribution of the grounded stub impedances, which is also bandwidth-dependent, is discussed in detail for the 40-160% range.

A Multivariate Band-Pass Filter [PDF]

open access: possible, 2008
We develop a multivariate filter which is an optimal (in the mean squared error sense) approximation to the ideal filter that isolates a specified range of fluctuations in a time series, e.g., business cycle fluctuations in macroeconomic time series. This requires knowledge of the true second-order moments of the data.
