Human voice filtering with band-stop filter design in MATLAB
2017 International Conference on Broadband Communication, Wireless Sensors and Powering (BCWSP), 2017This paper discusses human voice filtering. The filtering was done by attenuating human voice's frequencies within a song's frequencies using filter design. Band-stop filter design is one of filter design that is used in this research. The band-stop filter design uses one type of windowing that is the Butterworth windowing.

A new, to the best of our knowledge, scheme for the generation of ultra-flat optical frequency combs (OFCs) is proposed, which mainly uses a polarization modulator (PolM) and a first-order Butterworth band-stop filter.

Electronically tunable band-stop filter
1988., IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium Digest, 2003The design procedures for an electronically tuned band-stop filter are presented. A technique for realizing tunable band-stop filters with coupled lines is discussed. The physical design and electrical performance of a five-section band-stop filter tunable from 6.5 GHz to 10 GHz, with a constant bandwidth, is given.

Micromachined Spurline Band-stop Filter
2007 IEEE International Workshop on Radio-Frequency Integration Technology, 2007This paper reports the design and fabrication of a membrane-supported spurline band-stop filter. The filter was fabricated using silicon bulk micromachining technique and a CMOS compatible metal/dielectric deposition RF sputtering technique. A closed-form expression of an equivalent value of dielectric constant is also derived and introduced to account

Abstract We analyze light transmission both through a 1D waveguide that has a regular array of atoms inside, and through a stack of equally-spaced partially reflecting mirrors. We view the atoms and mirrors as linear filters. As such, they have two inputs, light coming in from both sides, and two outputs, light going out to both sides.

Tunable superconducting band-stop filters
1998 IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium Digest (Cat. No.98CH36192), 2002Electrically tunable notch filters based on bulk single crystal SrTiO/sub 3/ (STO) parallel-plate resonators with High Temperature Superconducting (HTS) electrodes are reported. The filters operate at temperatures below 90 K. The center frequency, located in the range 0.5-2.0 GHz, can be controlled with an applied voltage, in some cases more than 100%.
