High‐quality coplanar waveguide tunable band‐stop filter using defected ground structure and comb‐line resonator with radio frequency microelectromechanical system varactors

International journal of circuit theory and applications, 2020
A new analog tunable Ka‐band band‐stop filter is proposed on high resistivity silicon (HRS) substrate using radio frequency microelectromechanical systems (RF MEMS) varactors for satellite and radar applications.

Compact LHM-based band-stop filter

2010 10th Mediterranean Microwave Symposium, 2010
A compact, low-insertion-loss, high selective band-stop filter is proposed. The filter is composed of four unit cells, two of which are anti-symmetrically connected left-handed metamaterial (LHM) unit cells in combination with their mirror images to obtain the symmetric return losses at both ports.

Band-stop filter sensor based on SIW cavity for the non-invasive measuring of blood glucose

IET Wireless Sensor Systems, 2019
Design and realisation of a substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) planar sensor for the non-invasive monitoring of blood glucose concentration (BGC) is described. The structure of the presented sensor is similar to a conventional band-stop filter.

Terahertz frequency range band-stop filters

Applied Physics Letters, 2005
We report the operation of band-stop filters in the terahertz (THz) frequency range, working at a center frequency of 600GHz. The filters were characterized by embedding them in a microstrip line attached to photoconductive switches which act as THz emitters and detectors. The filters have applications in sensing and detection. The chosen filter design

Direct Coupled Spiral Resonator for Band Stop Filter Applications

SPIN, 2020
This paper presents a direct coupled open ended spiral resonator (OESR) on a microstrip line for band stop filter applications. Using the insertion loss method, a band stop of third order with Butterworth response is realized.

Miniaturized multiband matched band-stop filter

2011 IEEE International RF & Microwave Conference, 2011
Multiple stop-bands are required in order to suppress interference in radio spectrum with multiple wireless systems operating in it. In addition, wireless communication systems usually require small devices to fulfill the miniaturization requirements and simplicity of mobile unit.

Tunable terahertz dual-band band-stop filter based on surface magnetoplasmons in graphene sheet array

, 2020
Magnetically tunable terahertz dual-band band-stop filters are proposed based on the surface magnetoplasmons of graphene. The magnetoplasmons of a graphene rectangular sheet array can be attributed to the combination effects of the two edge plasmons ...

Band-stop filter based on tunable Fano resonance and electromagnetically induced transparency in metal-dielectric-metal waveguide coupling systems

Physica Scripta, 2020
Metal-dielectric-metal (MIM) waveguide coupling systems based on surface plasmon polaritons (SPPs) are designed and studied. The finite element method is used to simulate the transmission spectra of structures in the whole simulation process.
