Multiple-band waveguide based band-stop filter

International Journal of Applied Electromagnetics and Mechanics, 2015
This paper presents a novel transversal coupling network for the design of multiple-band bandstop filters. In this proposed structure, multiple-band bandstop filter is design based on amalgamated (conductive and dielectric material) posts coupled rectangular waveguide to demonstrate the feasibility of proposed network.

Compact microstrip band-stop filter using IDCLLR

2010 International Conference on Microwave and Millimeter Wave Technology, 2010
The structure of inter-digital capacitance loaded loop resonator (IDCLLR) is employed for designing microstrip (MS) band-stop filter (BSF), it benefits from its miniaturization and design flexibility due to more structural parameters. Three kinds of IDCLLR-based MS-BSF are presented in this article.

Design of Array CSRRs Band-Stop Filter

2018
Metamaterials are artificial pseudo-homogeneous structures with electromagnetic properties not found in nature. This paper presents a microwave band-stop filter making use of complementary split-ring resonator (CSRR). This filter combines a conventional bandstop filter characteristics and negative permittivity metamaterial to establish a metamaterial ...

Tunable high-frequency band-stop magnetic filters

Applied Physics Letters, 2003
We present results on Fe- and Permalloy™-based microstrip microwave band-stop filters. These structures, prepared on GaAs substrates, are compatible in size and growth process with on-chip high-frequency electronics. We observed power attenuation of 100 dB/cm for Permalloy and 180 dB/cm for Fe. The insertion loss is low: 2–3 dB for Permalloy and 3–5 dB

Tunable Coplanar Wave Guide Band Stop Filters

Integrated Ferroelectrics, 2013
A tunable band stop filter is designed in the frequency range of 0.5 GHz to 1 GHz and its performance is simulated with Agilent ADS. The filter is fabricated on FR-4 substrates. The BST parallel plate ferroelectric varactors are fabricated on sapphire substrates by MOD technique with Platinum Electrodes and ion-milling.

All-dielectric band stop filter at terahertz frequencies

2017 International Conference on Optical Instruments and Technology: IRMMW-THz Technologies and Applications, 2018
We design all-dielectric band stop filters with silicon subwavelength rod and block arrays at terahertz frequencies. Supporting magnetic dipole resonances originated from the Mia resonance, the all-dielectric filters can modulate the working band by simply varying the structural geometry, while eliminating the ohmic loss induced by the traditional ...

Band-Pass/Band-Stop Filter Design by Frequency Transformation

IETE Journal of Education, 2004
Given the specifications of a band-pass filter (BPF) or a band-stop filter (BSF), the same can be translated to those of a normalized low-pass filter (LPF) by frequency transformation. Once the latter is designed, one can realize the BPF/BSF by using the same transformation in the reverse manner.

The controlled K/sub L/ band-stop filter

Twenty Seventh International Conference on Infrared and Millimeter Waves, 2003
The experimental results of one method of shaping the amplitude-frequency characteristic of a K/sub L/ pass-band filter are presented. These filters are based on waveguide-slot lines with a ferrite resonator placed into the slot line gap. The main characteristics of such filters are the low attenuation in a narrow pass-band (near 1...

A Cascaded Microwave Band Stop Filter

The design of a wide band reconfigurable dual bandpass filter with a wide band stop range is presented using a parallel cascaded microstrip topology. In doing so, two cascaded cross-coupled filters are implemented without the need to use an isolator; one quasi low-pass filter and one quasi high-pass filter. Simulated results are presented.
