Band-structure loops and multistability in cavity QED [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review A, 2011
We calculate the band structure of ultracold atoms located inside a laser-driven optical cavity. For parameters where the atom-cavity system exhibits bistability, the atomic band structure develops loop structures akin to the ones predicted for Bose-Einstein condensates in ordinary (non-cavity) optical lattices.

Photonic Type-III Nodal Loop and Topological Phase Transitions at Bilayer Metasurfaces

open access: yesFrontiers in Materials, 2022
In momentum space, the nodal loop is regarded as a ring-shaped band degeneracy and is classified into type-I and type-II configurations depending on the positive/negative dispersions of the degenerating bands.

BAND AND LOOP SPACE MAINTAINER: A REPORT

open access: yesInternational Journal of Advanced Research, 2020
Space maintainers have been used in Pediatric Dentistry for many years. The use of these appliances, however, in terms of indications, contraindications, design and construction has gained little attention from researchers. Aim: This study enlighten the construction of a new technique of fabrication of band and loop space maintainer.

BAND AND PONTIC: A MODIFIED BAND AND LOOP SPACE MAINTAINER - CLINICAL INNOVATION

open access: yesInternational Journal of Advanced Research, 2021
Primary teeth play an important role in preventing malocclusion of permanent dentition. When there is prematureloss of primary teeth, the space shouldbe maintained for preserving the arch integrity and preventing space loss. Space maintainers are the treatment of choice in such conditions.

FABRICATION OF MAYNE’S SPACE MAINTAINER FOR PREMATURE LOSS OF DECIDUOUS TEETH

open access: yesJournal of Vocational Health Studies, 2023
Background: Premature loss for deciduous teeth is defined as the teeth that fall out before approaching the time of eruption of their replacement permanent teeth regardless of the reason for the loss of the teeth.

Compensating Processing Delay in Excess of One Clock Cycle in Noise Shaping Loops Without Altering the Filter Topology

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2021
This work presents an analytical method to design a stable loop filter for a noise shaper with parasitic delays or poles in the loop. This method does not require an increase in the order of the loop or extra feedback paths and keeps the original poles ...

Analysis of a multi-wavelength time-resolved observation of a coronal loop [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
Several items on the diagnostics and interpretation of coronal loop observations are under debate. In this work, we analyze a well-defined loop system detected in a time-resolved observation in several spectral bands.
