NRZ timing recovery technique for band limited channels
1996 IEEE International Solid-State Circuits Conference. Digest of TEchnical Papers, ISSCC, 1997Numerous clock and data recovery techniques have been reported in recent years, but data rate has been limited by bandwidth. NRZ data such as used in Ethernet or Sonet, when transmitted over band-limited channels, suffer from dc wandering, where the received waveform is represented as a sum of individual symbol responses. The long tails of data symbols

Post-Release Stratification in Band-Recovery Models
Biometrics, 1988Brownie et al. (Statistical Inferencefrom Band-Recovery Data-A Handbook, 2nd edition, Washington, D.C.: Fish and Wildlife Service, U.S. Department of the Interior, 1985) present methodology for the analysis of band-recovery data when all animals are assumed to behave independently and all animals are homogeneous with respect to annual survival and band-

Natural order recovery for banded covariance models
2012 IEEE 7th Sensor Array and Multichannel Signal Processing Workshop (SAM), 2012Banded covariance models have recently received attention in the high dimensional covariance estimation literature. Banded inverse covariance models correspond to autoregressive processes and thus have a simple and intuitive interpretation, offering insight into underlying covariance structure.

Recovery of dissected C-band regions in Crepis chromosomes
Theoretical and Applied Genetics, 1993Chromosome samples were prepared on a plastic coverslip covered with a polyester membrane and were subjected to the C-banding treatment. The C-band pattern was obtained after Giemsa staining. The C-band positive regions of the Crepis chromosomes were identified, dissected out by irradiation with a micro-laser beam and recovered in Eppendorf tubes.

Continental Survival and Recovery Rates of Northern Pintails Using Band‐Recovery Data
The Journal of Wildlife Management, 2010Abstract: Unlike other North American prairie‐nesting dabbling ducks, northern pintail ( Anas acuta ) populations have not increased since the early 1990s and remain well below the long‐term average for traditional survey areas.

Recovery of thick shear bands in atactic polystyrene
Journal of Polymer Science Part A: Polymer Chemistry, 1986AbstractThe DSC thermograms of the shear band material cut out by a diamond saw to include some undeformed material revealed two Tg's clearly separated by about 10°C. The first Tg was at the same temperature as the Tg of the undeformed material. The second Tg, which was at a higher temperature than the first Tg, appeared shortly after the shear strain ...
