Paradise shelduck band recoveries in the Wanganui District
Notornis, 1990Post-moult dispersal of Paradise Shelducks (Tadorna variegata) in the Wanganui district was examined during 1987 and 1988 from hunting season band recoveries. Birds were banded at five locations, two coastal (Lakes Waipu and Marahau) and three hill country (Kakatahi, Parihauhau, and Mangamahu).

The recovery of distorted band-limited stochastic processes
IEEE Transactions on Information Theory, 1973This paper deals with the problem of recovering a band-limited process after it has been distorted by an instantaneous non-linearity and subsequently band-limited. Several uniqueness theorems for the input-output relationships are derived. In contrast with the deterministic case, no requirement that the nonlinearity be monotonic is made here.

Banded Ion Morphology: Main and Recovery Storm Phases
2013The occurrence of bands in ion spectra obtained with the high-altitude and low-altitude plasma instruments on DE-1 and DE-2, respectively, during main and recovery storm phases from the period September 1981 - January 1982 is analyzed statistically. Typical spectra are shown; diagrams and graphs of storm morphology are provided; and two theoretical ...
