A Cu‐Based Near‐IR Active MOF with an Ion‐Pair Guest Exhibiting Versatile and Selective Gas‐Solid Reactivity

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The new Cu‐containing MOF (Me2NH2)(CuICl2)@[Cu4(INA)4Cl2O]·1.5dmf (3) contains a cation and an anion as guests and shows UV‐near‐mid‐IR absorption and near‐IR emission. MOF 3 shows gas‐solid reactivity in the presence of NH3 and HCOOH to yield two new 3D MOF.

Progressive Band Dimensionality Expansion and Reduction Via Band Prioritization for Hyperspectral Imagery

open access: yes, 2014
Processing enormous hyperspectral data results in high computational complexity. Band selection (BS) is one common practice to accomplish this goal. However, determining the number of bands to be selected and finding appropriate bands for BS are very ...

Universal Conductance Fluctuations in Quantum Anomalous Hall Insulators

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Universal conductance fluctuations are observed in mesoscopic quantum anomalous Hall insulators. Two distinct fluctuation patterns are identified, arising from different interference processes of bulk and chiral edge states, respectively. These findings unveil rich quantum interference phenomena in quantum anomalous Hall insulators and provide insights

Hyperspectral Anomaly Detection Method Based on Joint Optimization of Dynamic Band Selection and Background Reconstruction

open access: yesIEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing
Hyperspectral anomaly detection aims to identify rare pixels that deviate from complex backgrounds without prior target information. Reconstruction-based methods have shown promising performance by modeling the background and detecting anomalies through ...

A suite of parallel algorithms for efficient band selection from hyperspectral images

open access: yes, 2018
The analysis of hyperspectral images is usually very heavy from the computational point-of-view, due to their high dimensionality. In order to avoid this problem, band selection (BS) has been widely used to reduce the dimensionality before the analysis ...

Localized Temperature Monitoring in Mouse Brain during Light Delivery via a Non‐Planar Tapered Fiber‐Integrated µRTD Sensor

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We report a multifunctional tapered optical fiber integrating a conformal micro‐resistance temperature detector (µRTD) for local, real‐time thermometry during optical stimulation. The platform combines light‐delivery and temperature sensing within a minimally invasive footprint, enabling detection of sub‐degree cortical heating under representative ...

Optimized Subset Selection for Matrices and its Application in Hyperspectral Band Selection

open access: yesIEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing
When spectral bands are considered as scatter points in the image space, hyperspectral band selection can be transformed into the column subset selection problem for matrices. We consider the problem of finding the submatrix of maximum volume of a matrix

Bubble Formation Control: Fabrication of Centimeter‐Sized Tissue‐Like Constructs by Catalase‐Coated Oxygen‐Releasing Hydrogel

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Oxygen‐releasing hydrogels are widely used to support cell survival in 3D cultures and to promote wound healing. However, incorporating catalase to convert H2O2 into O2 often generates additional oxygen bubbles, leading to material instability which rarely addressed.

AI–Guided 4D Printing of Carnivorous Plants–Inspired Microneedles for Accelerated Wound Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This work presents an artificial intelligence (AI)‐guided 4D‐printed microneedle platform inspired by carnivorous plants for wound healing. A thermo‐responsive shape memory polymer enables body temperature–triggered self‐coiling for autonomous wound closure.

Phase‐Pure and Size‐Tunable Tin Halide Perovskite Quantum Dots

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A trioctylphosphine oxide modulated protocol allows for the synthesis and study of the optical properties of a broad library of tin halide perovskite quantum dots across multiple A‐ and X‐site compositions with precise size tuning while eliminating unwanted 2D phases.
