Investigation into microstrip dual-mode bandpass filters (BPFS) with in-line feed-line configurations

Microwave and Optical Technology Letters, 2006
Based on the geometry relationship of the conventional dual-mode ring resonators, this study concisely describes the operation principle of a kind of dual-mode resonator filters with in-line feed-lines. The investigated filter topology is fed by two pairs of orthogonal branch lines and can realize in-line configuration for the input and output (I/O ...

Bandpass filter (BPF) design using waveguide iris conformation over Substrate Integrated Waveguide (SIW) Bend

2017 1st International Conference on Electronics, Materials Engineering and Nano-Technology (IEMENTech), 2017
In this paper a novel Substrate Integrated Waveguide(SIW) filter has been proposed, bended with 150° angle and loaded with cylindrical iris for obtaining the filtering characteristic in the range of Ku band. 150°bend within the SIW structure is provided to facilitate its integration ability over planar Microwave Integrated Circuits (MICs).

Compact LTCC Bandpass Filter (BPF) with High Frequency Selectivity Based on Mixed Electric and Magnetic Coupling

2019 International Conference on Microwave and Millimeter Wave Technology (ICMMT), 2019
In this paper, based on mixed electronic and magnetic coupling (E-M coupling) structures and miniaturized resonator units, a compact low-temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) bandpass filter at 2.48 GHz is proposed. Due to the E-M coupling and source-loading structures, three transmission zeros (TZs) are introduced.

Synthesis and design of four pole ultra-wide band (UWB) bandpass filter (BPF) employing multi-mode resonators (MMR)

2012 IEEE/MTT-S International Microwave Symposium Digest, 2012
A complete synthesis and design of fourth order UWB BPF has been presented in this paper. Based on MMR, equivalent circuit is used to derive transfer function which is then used to extract the filtering function. For optimal solution, mathematical formulation is used to calculate characteristic impedance of filter in order to have chebyshev type ...

New S-Band Bandpass Filter (BPF) With Wideband Passband for Wireless Communication Systems

IEEE Microwave and Wireless Components Letters, 2012
In this letter, a new wideband bandpass filter (BPF) using microstrip parallel-coupled line structure for s-band applications is proposed. The filter is constructed of two sections of three coupled lines separated by a nonuniform line resonator. In order to introduce one transmission zero at each edge of the desired passband, one of the outer coupled ...
