Wideband Bandstop Filter With Cross-Coupling
IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, 2007A general circuit configuration for cross-coupled wideband bandstop filters is proposed. The distinct filtering characteristics of this new type of transmission line filter are investigated theoretically and experimentally. It is shown that a ripple stopband can be created, leading to a quasi-elliptic function response that enhances the rejection ...

A Planar Multiband Balanced Bandstop Filter
2018 IEEE MTT-S Latin America Microwave Conference (LAMC 2018), 2018This paper introduces for the first time, a novel architecture of differential (balanced) bandstop filter (BSF), which can realize an arbitrary number of stopbands with arbitrary order. The design incorporates in-series cascade of K N-band sections in a branch line structure to realize a K-th order N-band balanced BSF transfer function. The common-mode

HDGS bandstop filter design by FGA
2010 IEEE Youth Conference on Information, Computing and Telecommunications, 2010A new fuzzy genetic algorithm (FGA) is developed to optimize Hilbert fractal defected ground structure (HDGS), designed bandstop filter. The genetic operators (crossover and mutation) are self-adaptively adjusted by fuzzy controller of the algorithm, so convergent character and global optimization are improved.

Bandstop filters with extended upper passbands
IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, 2006Previous microwave distributed bandstop filters have had their second harmonic response centered at no more than three times the fundamental bandstop mid-band frequency, due to the use of quarter-wave resonators. This limitation has now been removed by the use of compound resonators having shorter electrical length.

Plasmonic Infrared Bandstop Reflective Filter
IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Quantum Electronics, 2013Various types of free-space plasmonic bandstop filters are reviewed. The plasmonic multilayer structure shows multiple localized surface plasmon (LSP) resonance modes with extraordinary high angle tolerance. Through modifying the plasmonic multilayer structure to a plasmonic T-shaped array, the multiple LSP modes can be suppressed.

A Novel Tuning Structure for Bandstop Filter
2006 IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium Digest, 2006This paper gives a novel structure design for bandstop filter. In narrow bandstop filter design, reactance slope is very critical and sensitive to the response, so we need to design suitable L and C which will resonate on the needed frequency and reactance slope.

Pseudo-Elliptic wideband harmonic bandstop filters
Eurocon 2013, 2013Wideband bandstop filters that are employed as pseudo-lowpass filters with very high rates of cutoff are difficult to realize as planar structures. In this paper, the performance of a Pseudo-Elliptic wideband bandstop filter that employs harmonic stubs and unit elements, is described.
