This paper presents a novel microstrip design to increase the bandwidth of spurline bandstop filter (BSF). This design combines between conventional spurline section and stepped impedance resonator (SIR) in one filter. The compact structure of bandstop filter is designed by using microstrip transmission lines at 2.4 GHz.

Bandstop Filter (BSF) Topology With Variable Attenuation

In this paper, we provide a new third-order bandstop filter (BSF) topology with attenuation control capability. The proposed BSF topology contains inter-resonator coupling structures and it can duplicate the frequency responses of the conventional BSF topology, which does not have inter-resonator couplings.
