Bifunctionally Driven Organic Photonic Conversion Devices Facilitated by Minimalistic Synthesis‐Based Interfacial Energetic Alignment

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A benzene‐phosphonic acid self‐assembled monolayer (BPA) simultaneously optimizes hole extraction and noise suppression, enabling bifunctional organic photovoltaics–photodetectors that deliver superb indoor performance and commercial viability. BPA‐devices achieve 28.6% PCE at 1000 lx, retain 93% efficiency on large‐scaled devices, and reach 584 fW NEP

Characterizing Emerging Detector Materials for Low‐Dose X‐Ray Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
X‐ray medical imaging requires detectors that deliver images at as low as reasonably possible dose. This perspective outlines a universal characterization framework of X‐ray imaging detectors, suitable for both emerging semiconductor and scintillator materials, introduces a novel unified figure of merit that links dose with resolution, and offers an ...

Citrate‐Enhanced PCL Scaffolds for Bone Tissue Engineering

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
This study investigates citrate‐enhanced polycaprolactone (PCL) scaffolds designed for bone tissue engineering. Utilizing 3D printing technology, four scaffold patterns (triple hexagon, grid, gyroid, zigzag) are evaluated for mechanical properties, cellular proliferation, osteogenic differentiation, and gene expression.
