Apply to the Field of Optoelectronics by Examining Structural, Electronic, Optical, Mechanical, and Thermophysical Properties of FrBeX3 (X = Cl and Br) Perovskites

open access: yesNano Select, EarlyView.
FrBeCl3 and FrBeBr3 are semiconductors with suitable band gaps for optoelectronic devices. Bonding analysis shows strong covalent and moderate ionic character. Both compounds are mechanically stable and ductile. FrBeBr3 has a higher dielectric constant, favoring solar use.

Study of the Effect of X‐Cation (Br and I) Substitution on the Physical Properties of Novel Inorganic NaCaX3 Perovskites

open access: yesNano Select, EarlyView.
Computer simulations demonstrate that NaCaBr3 and NaCaI3 have suitable band gaps, strong optical absorption, and advantageous dielectric and conductive properties. The compounds exhibit structural stability, low thermal conductivity, and high melting points. Mechanical analysis shows they are ductile and stable.
