Biphasic Granular Bioinks for Biofabrication of High Cell Density Constructs for Dermal Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This study introduces a biphasic granular bioink (µInk) that enables 3D bioprinting of high cell density constructs for dermal regeneration. The bioink promotes cell proliferation, ECM deposition, and neovascularization, leading to tissue integration and reduced scar formation in vivo.

De Novo Design of Integrin α5β1 Modulating Proteins to Enhance Biomaterial Properties

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
NeoNectins are de novo‐designed miniproteins that selectively bind and stabilize the extended open form of integrin α5β1. When grafted onto biomaterials including hydrogel and titanium, they promote cell attachment and spreading in vitro and promoting tissue integration and bone growth in animal models, demonstrating broad potential for regenerative ...

Budget for Romania in 2010. Constraints and challenges

open access: yesAnnals of Spiru Haret University Economic Series, 2010
Generally speaking, the budget of any state represents the way how that state develops, expressed by the capability to spend for consumption and investments – smaller and higher amounts of money – depending on the income level that the state may ...

Mussel‐Inspired Molecular Strategies for Fabricating Functional Materials With Underwater Adhesion and Self‐Healing Properties

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This review systematically examines the nanomechanical mechanisms of mussel‐inspired molecular interactions, primarily investigated by direct force measurement techniques such as surface forces apparatus and atomic force microscopy. The macroscopic adhesive and self‐healing performances of mussel‐inspired functional materials, including coacervates ...

Artesunate Nanoplatform Targets the Serine–MAPK Axis in Cancer‐Associated Fibroblasts to Reverse Photothermal Resistance in Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The artesunate nanoplatform selectively targets ECM CAF, functioning as a GTPase inhibitor through disruption of intracellular serine homeostasis. This metabolic intervention effectively suppresses MAPK cascade activity, which consequently inhibits PTT‐induced CAF to ECM CAF differentiation.

Size of the ulna and taxonomic order affect vane dimensions of secondary remiges in birds

open access: yesAvian Research
The number of secondary feathers varies among orders of birds with some orders exhibiting a positive relationship with ulna length, whereas in other orders secondary number is invariant.
