Neuron Compatibility and Antioxidant Activity of Barium Titanate and Lithium Niobate Nanoparticles
The biocompatibility and the antioxidant activity of barium titanate (BaTiO3) and lithium niobate (LiNbO3) were investigated on a neuronal cell line, the PC12, to explore the possibility of using piezoelectric nanoparticles in the treatment of inner ear ...

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

Synthesis of Barium-graphite Intercalation Compound
Barium-graphite intercalation compound was synthesized by heat treatment of mixed powder of barium metal and graphite.X-ray analysis showed that the reaction product was composed of 1st stage compound and unreacted graphite. The compounds with higher stages than the 1st were not formed, even if the mixing ratio of Ba/C was changed from 1/8 to 1/24.The ...

BCL9 and BCL9L drive bladder cancer progression by enhancing β‐catenin signaling, promoting proliferation, migration, invasion, and organoid growth. Genetic depletion of BCL9(L) suppresses malignant phenotypes, while pharmacological disruption of the β‐catenin/BCL9(L) complex with ZW4864 inhibits canonical Wnt signaling and tumor‐associated cellular ...

Unique biological samples, such as site‐specific mutant proteins, are available only in limited quantities. Here, we present a polarization‐resolved transient infrared spectroscopy setup with referencing to improve signal‐to‐noise tailored towards tracing small signals. We provide an overview of characterizing the excitation conditions for polarization‐
