Mechanical properties of barium hexaferrites
IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 1979The mechanical properties of typical isotropic barium ferrites have been determined. A statistical analysis has shown that fracture toughness is the best quality parameter. It changes with variation of production operation conditions. Multiferroic properties of polycrystalline barium hexaferrite
Inorganic Materials, 2015We have examined the feasibility of obtaining polycrystalline barium hexaferrite with multiferroic properties. It has been shown that doping with boron trioxide ensures the formation of a fine-grained structure with high-resistivity nonmagnetic layers between the grains.

Improved Synthesis Methods for Barium Hexaferrite

Surface effects in barium hexaferrite nanoparticles
Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, 1999Abstract Two BaFe 10.4 Co 0.8 Ti 0.8 O 19 samples of 45 and 7.6 nm mean particle diameter were studied. Static magnetic properties and low-field relaxation measurements indicate the presence of high-energy barriers in the nanometric powder, which cannot be associated with the intrinsic anisotropy.
