Paste-Injection of Low-Density Barium Hexaferrite Magnets with Soft Magnetic Iron Phase

open access: yesMetals, 2022
Permanent magnets of varying shapes and sizes are increasingly produced. For hexaferrite magnets, it is challenging to incorporate polymers and a soft magnetic phase in the form of paste before injection molding or extrusion free-forming.

Structural, Magnetic and Acetone Sensing Properties of Barium- Calcium Hexaferrite Synthesized by Sol- Gel Auto Combustion Method

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Materials in Engineering, 2020
In this research, barium calcium hexaferrite (Ba1-xCaxFe12O19 , 0≤x£1) nanoparticles were synthesized through a sol-gel combustion method. The dried gel samples were then calcined at 950ºC for 4:30h.

Synthesis and Characterization of Novel V‐Type Hexaferrite BaFe9−xSnxO15

open access: yesZeitschrift für anorganische und allgemeine Chemie, Volume 651, Issue 12, August 1, 2025.
GA: The crystal structure of a new quaternary V‐type hexaferrite with the composition BaFe9−xSnxO15, found in the system Ba–Fe–Sn–O, is reported. A novel V‐type hexaferrite with the composition BaFe9−xSnxO15 with 1.57 ≤ x ≤ 1.84 (from wavelength dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy [WDX] data) is synthesized by reacting BaCO3, Fe2O3, SnO2, and Na2CO3 as flux ...

In Situ Polymerization of Barium Hexaferrite Ferrofluids for Poly(Ethylene) Succinate Magnetic Nanoparticle Composites

open access: yesJournal of Applied Polymer Science, Volume 142, Issue 23, June 15, 2025.
ABSTRACT The integration of hard magnetic barium hexaferrite (BHF) nanoplatelets into a dense poly(ethylene succinate) (PES) polyester matrix produces an exciting biodegradable thermoplastic magnetic polymer nanocomposite. In this work, scandium‐substituted BHF nanoplatelets are grown and stabilized in hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB ...

SYNTHESIS AND PROPERTIES OF ACICULAR BARIUM HEXAFERRITE

open access: yesLe Journal de Physique Colloques, 1988
The barium hexaferrite crystallizes in the hexagonal system of the magnetoplumbite type. The particles, generally prepared by solid state reactions, coprecipitation, crystallisation ion a glass or by growth under a flux, usually appear in the form of hexagonal platelets. We have prepared the barium hexaferrite in the acicular form, which may be of some
