Thermal expansion of Ti-substituted barium hexaferrite [PDF]
Thermal expansion measurements in the range of 20–500 °C were carried out on both poly- and single crystalline samples of the hexagonal magnetoplumbite ferrite with composition BaTiFe11O19. The continuous scanning of the thermal expansion reveals the existence of a λ-type anomaly near the Curie temperature. In contrast to the usual observed anisotropic

Triple‐Stimuli Responsive Soft Robots with Photo‐Programmable Ferriferous Oxide Particle Patterns
The in situ generation of Fe3O4 nanoparticles in polymer substrate is realized by combining photo‐reduction of Fe3+ to Fe2+ and hydrolytic reaction of the two ions. By spatiotemporal control of UV light irradiation, the distribution of Fe3O4 nanoparticle can be well controlled, which enables the composite with magnetic field, NIR light, and moisture ...

ASb3Mn9O19 (A = K or Rb): New Mn‐Based 2D Magnetoplumbites with Geometric and Magnetic Frustration
The first Mn‐based magnetoplumbites, ASb3Mn9O19 (A = K or Rb), are discovered, synthesized, and characterized. According to magnetic properties measurements, neutron diffraction, and reverse Monte Carlo refinement, short‐range magnetic correlations are observed in the new materials.

Cobalt‐Based Materials in Supercapacitors and Batteries: A Review
Cobalt (Co)‐based materials are appropriate as electrode materials in energy storage devices. A combination of Co and ferrite materials such as nickel, zinc, and copper, or Co with nonferrite materials such as metal–organic frameworks and layered double hydroxides has sparked applied research.
