Thermotolerant class A acid phosphatase active across broad pH range and diverse substrates
Protein Science, Volume 34, Issue 9, September 2025.Abstract M2‐32 is a non‐specific acid phosphatase with a rare ability to function across a broad pH range (3.5–8.5). Analysis using SWISS‐PROT Prf Profiles classifies it as a class A acid phosphatase (Z‐score: 78.97), sharing 50%–60% sequence similarity with enzymes such as PhoC and PhoN.

Is NGC 4631 a barred spiral galaxy?
The Astronomical Journal, 1991 High- and low-dispersion optical spectra of the giant H II region CM 67 near the center of the edge-on galaxy NGC 4631 have been obtained. Comparisons are made with radio observations to suggest the existence of a large bar in NGC 4631. Region CM 67 is shown to coincide in position with the easternmost peak of a triple radio-continuum source.
