Generation of Probabilistic Bits by Exploiting Orthogonal Spin Currents in Magnetic Trilayers
Fe/Ti/CoFeB trilayers generate orthogonal spin currents that drive stochastic spin–orbit‐torque switching for probabilistic‐bit operation. The switching probability is continuously controlled by the in‐plane magnetic field and drive current, enabling tunable random bit generation.

CONSTRUCTION OF A BREACH CLOSURE IN A BARRIER ISLAND
A breach was opened in the barrier beach along the south shore of Long Island, New York during a winter storm in January, 1980. Due to public safety and environmental concerns, a contract to close the breach using sand fill was awarded to a local contractor.

Interpretable machine learning reveals how composition and processing govern the formation and microstructural burden of Fe‐rich intermetallic compounds in recycled Al–Si–Fe–Mn alloys. By separating morphology selection from morphology‐conditioned burden partitioning, this framework shows that identical Fe contents can yield different intermetallic ...

Compilation of information on the interaction of reef sharks with the reef line fishery in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park: final report to the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority [PDF]
[Extract] Three data sets were examined to define the level of interaction of reef associated sharks with the commercial Coral Reef Fin Fish Fishery (CRFFF) within the Great Barrier Reef. Data were examined from; 1) fishery logbooks from 1989-2006; 2) an

Photonic‐Enabled Energy‐Efficient Transparent Neuromorphic Computing Devices: A Review
Transparent photonic neuromorphic computing devices merge optics and brain‐inspired computing to overcome von Neumann bottlenecks with ultrafast, low‐energy processing. By exploiting transparent oxides, 2D materials, phase‐change materials, and hybrid heterostructures, these platforms enable photonic synapses, memory, and logic for see‐through edge ...

Multiferroic order parameters – polarization, magnetization, and ferroelastic strain – are positioned as dynamic design variables for batteries. Their mechanistic roles, practical tuning through fabrication and external fields, and ferroic‐resolved characterization routes are unified into a closed‐loop framework, revealing how coupled ferroic responses
