Correcting Inconsistency in Linear Inequalities by Minimal Change in the Right Hand Side Vector [PDF]
Correcting an inconsistent set of linear inequalities by minimal changes in problem data is a well studied problem and up to now several algorithms have been developed to do this task. In this paper, we consider doing the minimal correction using the l 2

Barriers in the p-spin interacting spin-glass model. The dynamical approach
We investigate the barriers separating metastable states in the spherical p-spin glass model using the instanton method. We show that the problem of finding the barrier heights can be reduced to the causal two-real-replica dynamics.

ABSTRACT Background This study investigated how neighborhood‐level social determinants of health (SDOH), including redlining and neurological risk, interact to influence cognitive outcomes in children treated for brain tumors (CTBT). Methods A retrospective chart review of 161 CTBT aged 5–17 was conducted.

Supporting Survivor‐Centered Care Through Digital Health Integration
ABSTRACT Survivors of childhood cancer face barriers to receiving guideline‐based, long‐term follow‐up care. Two digital tools, Passport for Care (PFC) and Cancer SurvivorLink (SurvivorLink), address complementary gaps by enabling tailored survivorship care plan (SCP) generation, updating, storage, and sharing.

Combined acoustical and economical noise barrier optimization using genetic algorithms
This paper studies noise barrier optimization using the Boundary Element Method (BEM) as a numerical technique and Genetic Algorithms (GA). Noise barriers are optimised according to acoustical, technological and economical properties so as to obtain an ...

We obtain the nuclear proximity potential by using semiclassical extended Thomas Fermi (ETF) approach in Skyrme energy density formalism (SEDF), and use it in the extended $\ell$-summed Wong formula under frozen density approximation. This method has the

Dietary Protein Intake and Peritoneal Protein Losses in Peritoneal Dialysis Patients
ABSTRACT Introduction Peritoneal dialysis (PD) patients lose protein in their waste dialysate, potentially increasing their risk for malnutrition. We wished to determine whether there was any association between losses and dietary protein intake (DPI). Methods DPI was assessed from 24‐h dietary recall using Nutrics software.

Synchronous reluctance machine design considering slotting effect and rotor topology optimization
This research explores design criteria for a synchronous reluctance machine (SynRM) with a four-layer rotor flux barrier structure with different design shapes. The main focus is to investigate slot harmonics and the angle influence of rotor flux barrier
