Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

In modelling financial derivatives, the pricing of barrier options are complicated as a result of their path-dependency and discontinuous payoffs. In the case of rebate knock-out barrier options, discount factors known as rebates are introduced, which ...

Financial distress prediction with knock out real options: a study for the argentine market
This paper explores default prediction models basis on real options theory, proposing a simple model using exotic barriers options. The financial distress prediction models consider the value of net capital like a call option over the firm’s assets.

Option Pricing using Quantum Computers [PDF]
We present a methodology to price options and portfolios of options on a gate-based quantum computer using amplitude estimation, an algorithm which provides a quadratic speedup compared to classical Monte Carlo methods.

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

Modeling credit risk with mixed fractional Brownian motion: An application to barrier options
This article aims to examine the pricing of debt and equity in the context of credit risk structural models, where the value of a company’s assets is influenced by mixed fractional Brownian motion.

Barrier Option Under Lévy Model : A PIDE and Mellin Transform Approach
We propose a stochastic model to develop a partial integro-differential equation (PIDE) for pricing and pricing expression for fixed type single Barrier options based on the Itô-Lévy calculus with the help of Mellin transform.

Plasma membranes contain dynamic nanoscale domains that organize lipids and receptors. Because viruses operate at similar scales, this architecture shapes early infection steps, including attachment, receptor engagement, and entry. Using influenza A virus and HIV‐1 as examples, we highlight how receptor nanoclusters, multivalent glycan interactions ...

The physical dimensions and shape of bacterial cells define the surface area available to acquire nutrients and the volume available for synthesizing proteins and DNA. Here, we use computational systems biology to decode the importance of cell geometry as a major determinant of prokaryotic phenotype, including growth rate and metabolic efficiency. This
