Remote Assessment of Ataxia Severity in SCA3 Across Multiple Centers and Time Points
ABSTRACT Objective Spinocerebellar ataxia type 3 (SCA3) is a genetically defined ataxia. The Scale for Assessment and Rating of Ataxia (SARA) is a clinician‐reported outcome that measures ataxia severity at a single time point. In its standard application, SARA fails to capture short‐term fluctuations, limiting its sensitivity in trials.

Theoretical Study of One-Intermediate Band Quantum Dot Solar Cell
The intermediate bands (IBs) between the valence and conduction bands play an important role in solar cells. Because the smaller energy photons than the bandgap energy can be used to promote charge carriers transfer to the conduction band and thereby the

Trivariate Copula for Modeling Barriers Crash Severity, Accounting for Policy Endogeneity
Studies have been implemented in the literature to enhance the safety of traffic barriers by identification of the contributory factors to those crashes. However, almost all those past studies are subject to potential pitfalls of just answering the cause-

Temperature Dependent Polarity Reversal in Au/Nb:SrTiO3 Schottky Junctions
We have observed temperature-dependent reversal of the rectifying polarity in Au/Nb:SrTiO3 Schottky junctions. By simulating current-voltage characteristics we have found that the permittivity of SrTiO3 near the interface exhibits temperature dependence ...

Spin relaxation rates in quasi-one-dimensional coupled quantum dots [PDF]
We study theoretically the spin relaxation rate in quasi-one-dimensional coupled double semiconductor quantum dots. We consider InSb and GaAs-based systems in the presence of the Rashba spin-orbit interaction, which causes mixing of opposite-spin states,

Objective Australian evidence on lived and care experiences of chronic musculoskeletal shoulder pain (CMSP), irrespective of disorder classification or disease, is limited. However, such evidence is important for person‐centered care and informing local service pathways and care guidelines or standards.

STUDY OF L–H TRANSITION AND PEDESTAL WIDTH BASED ON TWO-FIELD BIFURCATION AND FIXED POINT CONCEPTS
The L–H transition in magnetic confinement plasmas is investigated on the basis of concepts of two-field bifurcation and fixed-point stability. A set of heat and particle transport equations with both neoclassical and anomalous effects included is used ...

Soliton tunneling with sub-barrier kinetic energies
We investigate (theoretically and numerically) the dynamics of a soliton moving in an asymmetrical potential well with a finite barrier. For large values of the width of the well, the width of the barrier and/or the height of the barrier, the soliton ...
