Characterization of the 16S-23S rRNA intergenic spacer of Bartonella bacilliformis

Gene, 1994
The 16S-23S intergenic spacer region from the ribosomal RNA (rRNA) operon of Bartonella bacilliformis was cloned and characterized. The spacer is 906 nucleotides (nt) in length and contains the genes encoding isoleucine-tRNA (tRNA(Ile)) and alanine-tRNA (tRNA(Ala)).
