ν electroweak baryogenesis [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
We investigate if the CP violation necessary for successful electroweak baryo- genesis may be sourced by the neutrino Yukawa couplings. In particular, we consider an electroweak scale Seesaw realization with sizable Yukawas where the new neutrino ...

Electroweak baryogenesis in the nMSSM

open access: yesAIP Conference Proceedings, 2007
In this talk, electroweak baryogenesis in the nMSSM is discussed. We focus on differences compared to the MSSM. We conclude that electroweak baryogenesis in the nMSSM is rather generic. Still, sfermions of the first two generations are required to be heavy to evade constraints from electric dipole moments.

Supersonic electroweak baryogenesis: achieving baryogenesis for fast bubble walls [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics, 2012
Standard electroweak baryogenesis in the context of a first order phase transition is effective in generating the baryon asymmetry of the universe if the broken phase bubbles expand at subsonic speed, so that CP asymmetric currents can diffuse in front of the wall.

Baryogenesis

open access: yes, 2017
Abstract This chapter shows that a baryon asymmetry can be generated only if the Sakharov conditions are satisfied. The required departure from thermal equilibrium can be realised either in first-order phase transitions or in out-of-equilibrium decays.

ELECTROWEAK BARYOGENESIS

open access: yesStrong and Electroweak Matter 2000, 2001
From observations of the universe and fundamental assumptions about its composition at early times, the conclusion of the existence of a mechanism producing a net baryon number is drawn.

Is electroweak baryogenesis dead? [PDF]

open access: yesPhilos Trans A Math Phys Eng Sci, 2018
Electroweak baryogenesis is severely challenged in its traditional settings: the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model, and in more general two Higgs doublet models.

Models of the Universe: Ontological and Physical Problems [PDF]

open access: yesФилософия и космология, 2022
The primary target of this paper is a philosophical analysis of modern models of the universe in cosmology. Understanding the existence of being is directly related to understanding both the world and oneself.

On Extra Top Yukawa Couplings of a Second Higgs Doublet

open access: yesUniverse, 2022
A very likely New Physics in plain sight, but that the community does not see, is a second Higgs doublet that has a second set of Yukawa couplings. The extra tt and tc couplings can each drive baryogenesis, with O(1) Higgs quartic couplings providing a ...

CP Violation for the Heavens and the Earth

open access: yesUniverse, 2022
Electroweak baryogenesis can be driven by the top quark in a general two Higgs doublet model with extra Yukawa couplings. Higgs quartics provide the first order phase transition, while extra top Yukawa coupling ρtt can fuel the cosmic baryon asymmetry ...
