Time-sliced perturbation theory II: baryon acoustic oscillations and infrared resummation [PDF]
We use time-sliced perturbation theory (TSPT) to give an accurate description of the infrared non-linear effects affecting the baryonic acoustic oscillations (BAO) present in the distribution of matter at very large scales. In TSPT this can be done via a

Visible GeV ALP from TeV Vector‐Like Leptons
Abstract A model is presented where a GeV axion‐like‐particle (ALP) is predicted in a large portion of the parameter space due to the presence of explicit Peccei–Quinn (PQ) symmetry‐breaking terms in an exotic leptonic sector. The latter provides a solution to the muon g−2$g-2$ anomaly, within the framework of the Linear Seesaw neutrino mechanism.

Possible molecular dibaryons with csssqq quarks and their baryon–antibaryon partners
In this work, we systematically investigate the charmed–strange dibaryon systems with csssqq quarks and their baryon–antibaryon partners from the interactions $$\varXi ^{(',*)}_{c}\varXi ^{(*)}$$ Ξ c ( ′ , ∗ ) Ξ ( ∗ ) , $$\varOmega ^{(*)}_c\varLambda ...

Recent Developments in Degenerate Higher Order Scalar Tensor Theories
Degenerate Higher Order Scalar Tensor theories are reviewed, together with their applications in cosmology and astrophysics. These theories have been applied to build models of the early universe, in the description of the late‐time cosmic acceleration, as well as in astrophysics, including black hole physics. They have the potential to provide answers

Strangeness S=-3 and -4 baryon-baryon interactions in chiral EFT
I report on recent progress in the description of baryon-baryon systems within chiral effective field theory. In particular, I discuss results for the strangeness S=-3 to -4 baryon-baryon systems, obtained to leading order.Comment: 4 pages, 2 figures ...

A Brief, Biased View of Neutron Star Cooling
ABSTRACT This is a concise and non‐technical review of topics related to neutron star (NS) cooling, for both young NSs and NSs in low‐mass x‐ray binaries. Neutrino emission from the NS core drives cooling rates, via different processes including Urca processes and pair breaking and formation at the neutron superfluid critical temperature.

The imprint of conservation laws on correlated particle production
The study of event-by-event fluctuations of net-baryon number in a subspace of full phase space is a promising direction for deciphering the structure of strongly interacting matter created in collisions of relativistic heavy nuclei.

Evolution of Baryon-Free Matter Produced in Relativistic Heavy-Ion Collisions
A 3-fluid hydrodynamic model is introduced for simulating heavy-ion collisions at incident energies between few and about 200 AGeV. In addition to the two baryon-rich fluids of 2-fluid models, the new model incorporates a third, baryon-free (i.e.
