Construction of baryon-baryon clusters on the lattice

AIP Conference Proceedings, 1995
We calculate static hadron‐hadron potentials within lattice QCD. We analyze the influence of the valence quark distribution on the shape of the potentials. The content of pointlike singlet clusters is determined.

High-Spin Baryons. I. The Pion-Baryon-Baryon Vertex

Physical Review, 1966
A simple analysis is given for the coupling of a pion to baryons of arbitrary spins and parities. The structure of the vertex depends on a new quantum number called $\ensuremath{\gamma}$ parity. Recursion formulas are given relating high-spin vertices to lower spin vertices.

Baryon-baryon interactions and unitary symmetry

Il Nuovo Cimento, 1964
The baryon-baryon interactions are studied by making use of the octet version of the unitary symmetry model. The bound state Ξ−n in the1S0 state is predicted provided that the symmetry is not violated seriously. The Ξ-n → Σ−Σ0 process occurs only through the space-spin svmmetric state.

Virtual particles and the baryon-baryon system

Il Nuovo Cimento, 1964
The1S0 virtual bound state of the nucleon-nucleon system is shown to belong to the 27-dimensional representation of the symmetry scheme based onSU(3) known as the eight-fold way. The other states of this multiplet are derived. Experimental evidence bearing on this state is discussed and it is suggested that if the many complications of baryon number-2 ...

Perturbative QCD, Baryons, and Baryon Resonances

1989
We will discuss applications of QCD using perturbation theory to baryons1,2 and to the baryon resonances. The subjects that nuclear physicists study are changing and Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) is presumably the correct theory for the strong interactions, so that this is a suitable subject for this institute.
