Baryon–anti-Baryon photoproduction [PDF]
Baryon - anti-baryon photoproduction off a proton target is being studied in detail at Jefferson Lab with the GlueX Experiment. We observe $p\bar{p}$ and, for the first time, $ \bar $ photoproduction (with $ \rightarrow ^- p$, $\bar \rightarrow ^+ \bar{p}$) from thresholds up to $E_ = 11.4$ GeV.

Baryon operators and baryon spectroscopy [PDF]
The issues involved in a determination of the baryon resonance spectrum in lattice QCD are discussed. The variational method is introduced and the need to construct a sufficient basis of interpolating operators is emphasised. The construction of baryon operators using group-theory techniques is outlined.

Baryon-Baryon Interactions [PDF]
Summary: We review the Nijmegen extended-soft-core (ESC) models for the baryon-baryon (\(BB\)) interactions of the \(SU(3)\) flavor-octet of baryons \((N, \Lambda , \Sigma \), and \(\Xi )\). The interactions are basically studied from the meson-exchange point of view, in the spirit of the Yukawa-approach to the nuclear force problem [\textit{H. Yukawa},

We study odd-parity baryonic resonances with one heavy and three light flavors, dynamically generated by meson-baryon interactions. Special attention is paid to Heavy Quark Spin Symmetry (HQSS), hence pseudoscalar and vector mesons and baryons with Jπ = 1/2+ and 3/2+ are considered as constituent hadrons.

Baryon-baryon potentials on the lattice [PDF]
The interaction of spatially extended heavy baryons is investigated in the framework of lattice QCD with dynamical quarks. It is shown that the expected dipole forces have a very short range and that the baryon-antibaryon interaction is more attractive than the baryon-baryon interaction. Sea quarks play a minor important role.

Density-dependent effective baryon–baryon interaction from chiral three-baryon forces [PDF]
A density-dependent effective potential for the baryon-baryon interaction in the presence of the (hyper)nuclear medium is constructed, based on the leading (irreducible) three-baryon forces derived within SU(3) chiral effective field theory. We evaluate the contributions from three classes: contact terms, one-pion exchange and two-pion exchange. In the

We point out that the variance of net-baryon distribution normalized by the Skellam distribution baseline, κ2[B−B¯]/〈B+B¯〉, is sensitive to the possible modification of (anti)baryon yields due to BB¯ annihilation in the hadronic phase.
