The allowed baryon to baryon–meson strong transitions

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
We investigate the kinematically allowed baryon to baryon–meson strong transitions in all the light and heavy sectors. We consider only the ground state on-shell particles in the baryonic and mesonic channels.

The baryon-baryon interaction in the large- N c limit. [PDF]

open access: yesEur Phys J A Hadron Nucl
Abstract We analyze the large- $$N_c$$ N c structure of the baryon–baryon potential derived in the framework of SU(3) chiral perturbation theory up to next-to-leading order ...

Baryon–anti-Baryon photoproduction [PDF]

open access: yesAIP Conference Proceedings, 2020
Baryon - anti-baryon photoproduction off a proton target is being studied in detail at Jefferson Lab with the GlueX Experiment. We observe $p\bar{p}$ and, for the first time, $Λ\barΛ$ photoproduction (with $Λ\rightarrow π^- p$, $\barΛ \rightarrow π^+ \bar{p}$) from thresholds up to $E_γ = 11.4$ GeV.

Baryon operators and baryon spectroscopy [PDF]

open access: yesNuclear Physics B - Proceedings Supplements, 2006
The issues involved in a determination of the baryon resonance spectrum in lattice QCD are discussed. The variational method is introduced and the need to construct a sufficient basis of interpolating operators is emphasised. The construction of baryon operators using group-theory techniques is outlined.

Baryon-baryon potentials on the lattice [PDF]

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 1993
The interaction of spatially extended heavy baryons is investigated in the framework of lattice QCD with dynamical quarks. It is shown that the expected dipole forces have a very short range and that the baryon-antibaryon interaction is more attractive than the baryon-baryon interaction. Sea quarks play a minor important role.

Meson baryon components in the states of the baryon decuplet [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2014
We extend the Weinberg compositeness condition to partial waves of L = 1 and resonant states to determine the weight of meson-baryon component in the [Formula: see text] baryon decuplet. We obtain an appreciable weight of πN in the Δ(1232) wave function, of the order of 60 % and we also show that, as we go to higher energies in the members of the ...

CHARMING BARYONS [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Modern Physics: Conference Series, 2014
We study odd-parity baryonic resonances with one heavy and three light flavors, dynamically generated by meson-baryon interactions. Special attention is paid to Heavy Quark Spin Symmetry (HQSS), hence pseudoscalar and vector mesons and baryons with J π = 1/2 +

BARYONS WITH HOLOGRAPHY [PDF]

open access: yesModern Physics Letters A, 2008
We perform the first study of baryons in holographic QCD with [Formula: see text] multi-D-brane system in type IIA superstring theory. The baryon is described as a chiral soliton solution in the four-dimensional meson effective action derived from holographic QCD.
