Motor‐Free Soft Robots for Cancer Detection, Surgery, and In Situ Bioprinting

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Novel motor‐free soft robots for cancer detection, surgery, and in situ bioprinting–are presented. This master‐slave system is constructed from soft fibrous syringe architectures, removing the need for electrical motors and complex control mechanisms, while reducing the physical tremors.

Smart Base Stations for

open access: yes, 1999
Users of mobile IT systems are calling for ever higher data rates, but such mobile radios are subject to multipath fading and intersymbol interference, often calling for complex equalizers at both ends of each link. Where the links are of short range, they often use time-division duplex.

Integrated Pristine van der Waals Homojunctions for Self‐Powered Image Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Pristine van der Waals homojunctions consisting of 2H‐MoTe2 layers with asymmetric thickness are constructed to eliminate heterogenous interfaces and obtain clean boundaries. The layer‐engineered energy bands of 2H‐MoTe2 layers induce a built‐in electric field at the interface, enabling self‐powered photodetection. Furthermore, a 10 × 10 array based on

Distributed Charging Coordination for Electric Trucks under Limited Facilities and Travel Uncertainties [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
In this work, we address the problem of charging coordination between electric trucks and charging stations. The problem arises from the tension between the trucks' nontrivial charging times and the stations' limited charging facilities. Our goal is to reduce the trucks' waiting times at the stations while minimizing individual trucks' operational ...

Self‐Assembled Hollow Gyroids with Bicontinuous Mesostructures: A Highly Robust Electrocatalyst Fixation Platform

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The hollow gyroid carbon (HGC), synthesized via the self‐assembly of block copolymers and vapor pressure‐induced hollow structuring, provides a robust platform for embedding Pt nanoparticles. The HGC morphology facilitates efficient mass transport while the pyridine N inherent in the block copolymer enhances electrical conductivity and electrochemical ...
