This work presents a closed‐loop optimization workflow integrating CatBot, an automated synthesis and testing system, to discover NiMo hydrogen‐evolution catalysts. CatBot synthesised and evaluated 228 unique samples, identifying the best performing catalysts for transfer to nickel‐foam electrodes. The best candidate is highly active, reaching 1 Acm−2${

An Adaptive Inhibitory WSe2 Transistor for Retinomorphic In‐Sensor Image Processing
Conventional retinomorphic devices typically require deliberate gate‐bias tuning for each illumination condition. In this paper, we demonstrate an adaptive inhibitory WSe2 transistor that uses photo‐induced regime shift between the subthreshold and accumulation modes to achieve decision‐free, intensity‐adaptive image processing within a single pixel ...

RECOMMENDATIONS CONCERNING THE ENERGY PARAMETERS SELECTION FOR MOBILE NETWORKS RADIO REPEATERS
Background. UMTS networks which belong to 3G standard help to solve the problem of mobility of different types of devices such as: POS-terminals, smartphones, sensors. Networks of this type have enough channel capacity. However, quality of radio coverage

A removable sacrificial polymer layer engineers the thermal boundary condition during nanosecond laser ablation of PET, suppressing heat‐affected‐zone formation without relying on costly ultrafast lasers. This strategy enables deep, high‐aspect‐ratio trenches with no detectable heat‐affected zone, templating silver‐filled mesh electrodes with record ...

Biodegradable 3D‐Printable and Coatable Antifouling Composites for Marine Applications
Marine biofouling damages submerged surfaces and raises greenhouse gas emissions. Biodegradable antifouling biocomposites were developed by hot‐mixing beeswax, Tween 80, and calcium stearate or stearic acid. Adjusting the component ratio enables processing via hot‐pressing, 3D‐printing, or dip‐coating.

Resolving 5G NR-U Contention for Gap-Based Channel Access in Shared Sub-7 GHz Bands
New Radio Unlicensed (NR-U) enables 5G networks to operate in unlicensed channels, including the sub-7 GHz bands where transmitters are required to adhere to a set of contention resolution rules known as listen before talk (LBT).

Base station placement in asymmetric TDD mode systems in a Manhattan environment
With Time Division Duplexing (TDD), radio resources can be flexibly divided between uplinks and downlinks. This makes TDD suitable for handling of the increasingly asymmetric traffic generated by data and multimedia services.

Multidimensional‐Encoded High‐Fidelity Spectrometers With a Floating‐Base Bipolar Junction
A floating‐base bipolar junction photodetector enables multidimensional spectral encoding through synergistic gate‐ and drain‐bias modulation of interfacial barrier matching. The resulting complementary spectral responses form a diverse, weakly correlated response matrix, enabling robust and high‐fidelity spectral reconstruction even at sub‐nanoampere ...
