A Study on Neutro-Topological Neighbourhood and Neutro-Topological Base

2023
Recently, Smarandache introduced NeutroAlgebra and AntiAlgebras. NeutroAlgebras and AntiAlgebras represent a new research subject that is based on real-world examples. He studied the concept of neutro-structures and anti-structures. From the concepts of NeutroAlgebra, he showed that if a statement (theorem, lemma, consequence, property, etc.) is ...

On Topological Bases

1981
In this chapter we investigate bases and related objects in topological vector spaces and in particular in locally convex spaces. No attempt is made to be complete, we only treat some of the most important topics which will be needed in later discussions.

Categorical foundations of variety-based topology and topological systems

Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 2012
The author presents a new approach to fuzzy topology and obtains a categorical generalization of the notion of topological system of S. Vickers. He also justifies the use of semi-quantales as the basic underlying structure for doing lattice-valued topology.

A Topology-Based Score for Pathway Enrichment

Journal of Computational Biology, 2012
Investigators require intuitive tools to rationalize complex datasets generated by transcriptional profiling experiments. Pathway analysis methods, in which differentially expressed genes are mapped to databases of reference pathways to facilitate assessment of relative enrichment, lead investigators more effectively to biologically testable hypotheses.

Digital topology: a comparison of the graph-based and topological approaches

1991
Abstract In image processing, the study of the topologiral properties of binary images has usually been based on adjacency relations defined on the black and white point sets (most often a combination of the so-called 4-, 8-, 6-, 18-. and 26-adjacency relations). We call this the graph based approach to digital topology.

A universal topological group with a countable base

Functional Analysis and Its Applications, 1986
If \(Q\) is the Hilbert cube and \(\Aut Q\) is the group of all homeomorphisms from \(Q\) to itself with the compact-open topology then the author proves the following theorem: Any topological group with countable basis is topologically isomorphic to some subgroup of the group \(\Aut Q\).
