Balancing Stealth and Targetability: cCPP‐ and PEG‐Modified Liposomes for the Targeted Delivery of Anti‐HER2 Nanobodies

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study addresses the rapid renal clearance of anti‐HER2 nanobodies by developing specialized liposomal carriers. It details the formulation of dual modified liposomes, demonstrating how PEGylation preserves structural integrity and cell‐penetrating peptides enhance cellular interaction.

Basel III & European banking

open access: yes, 2013
Basel III was a direct response to the Economic Crisis of 2008. There were far-reaching effects to the global economy even though banks were in compliance with Basel II.

NLSS3 Impairs SHM1 Autophagic Degradation to Regulate Leaf Morphology and Salt Tolerance in Rice

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In rice, NLSS3 binds and shields SHM1 from autophagic degradation to maintain serine homeostasis. The A132P mutation in nlss3 disrupts this, triggering SHM1 loss, metabolic dysfunction, K+ imbalance, and impaired ROS scavenging, which collectively drive narrow leaves and salt sensitivity.

Bias‐Engineered Synthetic Antiferromagnets Hosting Sub‐20 nm Zero‐Field Skyrmions at Room Temperature

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A fully compensated synthetic antiferromagnet (SAF) multilayer exhibits a uniform state at zero field, without skyrmions. We use a SAF bias system to provide RKKY‐mediated exchange bias to the SAF multilayer, promoting zero‐field skyrmion stabilization and polarity control.

Operational risk : A Basel II++ step before Basel III

open access: yes, 2011
Following Banking Committee on Banking Supervision, operational risk quantification is based on the Basel matrix which enables sorting incidents. In this paper, we deeply analyze these incidents and propose strategies for carrying out the supervisory guidelines proposed by the regulators. The objectives are as follows.

Cholesterol Laundry of Cell Membrane and Fatty Liver by Detergent Liposomes to Improve Anti‐Cancer Drug Responsiveness of Patient Liver Tissues

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Cholesterol‐enriched plasma membranes in hepatocellular carcinoma impede drug penetration. Cholesterol (+)‐liposomes act as membrane‐specific detergents, extracting cholesterol and reducing barrier function without cytotoxicity. Following endocytosis, cholesterol transfers from endosomes to liposomes and is metabolized in the ER.
