We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

Amino acids sequence of two different proteins with the same sequence (chameleon sequence—black boxes) represent in 3D structure of the proteins different secondary structures: HHHH—helical and BBB—Beta‐structural. The chains folded in water environment adopt different III‐order structures in which the chameleon fragments appear to adopt similar status

ABSTRACT Background Myasthenia gravis (MG) is a rare disorder characterized by fluctuating muscle weakness with potential life‐threatening crises. Timely interventions may be delayed by limited access to care and fragmented documentation. Our objective was to develop predictive algorithms for MG deterioration using multimodal telemedicine data ...

Bayesian Update with Information Quality under the Framework of Evidence Theory
Bayesian update is widely used in data fusion. However, the information quality is not taken into consideration in classical Bayesian update method. In this paper, a new Bayesian update with information quality under the framework of evidence theory is ...

Methods to obtain basic Probability Assignment in Evidence Theory
Dempster-Shafer Theory (DST) of Evidence is a powerful and flexible mathematical tool for handling uncertainty, impreciseness, and incomplete information. It can be used when both epistemic and aleatory uncertainties are present in the problem under consideration. The fundamental and important object of this theory of evidence is the primitive function

A Method to Determine Basic Probability Assignment in Context Awareness of a Moving Object
Determining basic probability assignment (BPA) is essential in multisensor data fusion by using Fussy Theory or Dempster-Shafer Theory (DST). The study presented a method to determine BPA through sensor data only reported by sensors without depending on ...
