Tectonic inversion of the Dnieper-Donets depression and the Donbas (models and reconstructions)
For the southeastern part of the DDD and the Donbas prolongation of basin modeling to the area of late post-rift and following inverse co-folding movements has been methodically justified. Predictive analysis with recovered volume of eroded sediments

Melt Grafting of Geometry‐Tailored Voltage Stabilizers for High‐Performance Polypropylene Insulation
A scalable one‐step melt grafting strategy is developed to enhance the dielectric properties of isotactic polypropylene by covalently incorporating thermally stable aromatic voltage stabilizers. This solvent‐free approach improves volume resistivity and DC breakdown strength through deep trap formation and charge localization, offering a sustainable ...

Present Heat Flow and Paleo‐Geothermal Anomalies in the Southern Golan Heights, Israel
While present heat flow (HF) throughout Israel and the Dead Sea Transform (DST) area is considered low, a thermal anomaly exists near the Yarmuk valley at the southern tip of the Golan Heights.

Coupled Basin and Hydro-Mechanical Modeling of Gas Chimney Formation: The SW Barents Sea
Gas chimneys are one of the most intriguing manifestations of the focused fluid flows in sedimentary basins. To predict natural and human-induced fluid leakage, it is essential to understand the mechanism of how fluid flow localizes into conductive ...

Permanent magnets derive their extraordinary strength from deep, universal electronic‐structure principles that control magnetization, anisotropy, and intrinsic performance. This work uncovers those governing rules, examines modern modeling and AI‐driven discovery methods, identifies critical bottlenecks, and reveals electronic fingerprints shared ...

s‐Orbital Mediated Metavalent Bonding Enables State‐Of‐The‐Art n‐Type AgBiSe2 Thermoelectrics
Metavalent bonding (MVB) underpins the exceptional property portfolio of chalcogenides. Typical MVB solids are mainly found in p‐bonded systems. This work reveals that MVB can also be formed with s‐p orbital interactions upon forming a single‐electron σ‐bond, as exemplified in AgBiSe2.

The incorporation of nondigested ECM and synthetic polymers into a co‐electrospinning system enables the decoupling of bioactivity and mechanical properties within a single wrap. This technique is used to develop a multifunctional bone wrap that achieves augmented membrane durability, sustained infection control, and enhanced vascularity for use in ...

Shallow Overpressure Formation in the Deep Water Area of the Qiongdongnan Basin, China
The scarcity of drilling in the deep water area of Qiongdongnan Basin restricts the cognition and prediction of overpressure. In this paper, a shallow zone of overpressure at the depth of 900–1,200 m below the sea floor in the deep water area was found ...

Petroleum system modelling of Pelotas basin, offshore Brazil using 2D basin modelling approach
Abstract The ongoing exploration activities at the Pelotas basin of Brazil uncover some missing gaps in the existing wells for hydrocarbon accumulation prediction. Therefore, there is a need to further investigate the petroleum system of the basin, especially the organic facies, variations and distributions of the effectiveness of ...
