The Motherland and the Fight with Fascism: War Cult and War Film under Brezhnev (1965–82)
Abstract This article, based on extensive archival documentation, newspapers, and periodicals, examines the impact upon the Soviet film industry of shifts in top‐level policy relating to representation of the war. It contends that Leonid Brezhnev’s May 8, 1965, speech on the eve of Victory Day propounded an inclusive vision of the war (later sections ...

Simple 3D spheroid cell culture model for studies of prion infection
Gentle rocking of CAD 5 cells suspension leads to spontaneous formation of 3D spheroids, which could be cultured up to 12 weeks and infected by prions. The presence of pathological prion protein PrPTSE in the infected spheroids was confirmed by Immunohistochemistry (red arrows), western blot and by seed amplification assay.

Coefficient Bounds for q‐Noshiro Starlike Functions in Conic Region
We present and examine a new family of analytic functions that can be described by a q‐Ruscheweyh differential operator. We discuss several novel results, including coefficient inequalities and other noteworthy properties such as partial sums and radii of starlikeness.

Inverse-Closedness of a Banach Algebra of Integral Operators on the Heisenberg Group
Let $\mathbb{H}$ be the general, reduced Heisenberg group. Our main result establishes the inverse-closedness of a class of integral operators acting on $L^{p}(\mathbb{H})$, given by the off-diagonal decay of the kernel.

Bivaraiate Generalized Baskakov Kantorovich Operators
This paper is in continuation of our work in \cite{PNM}, wherein we introduced generalized Baskakov Kantorovich operators $K_n^a(f;x)$ and established some approximation properties e.g. local approximation, weighted approximation, simultaneous approximation and $A-$statistical convergence. Also, we discussed the rate of convergence for functions having

Rate of Convergence of Modified Baskakov Operators
The authors study the local rate of approximation of functions that are of bounded variation on every compact subinterval of \([0,\infty)\) by the method of Baskakov-Durrmeyer type operators (case \(c=1\)). Their proofs of the main theorem and of several lemmas make use of some elementary results on random variables. Remark.
