A Bernstein‐Like Trigonometric Basis: Properties, Curve Design, and Operator Construction
We introduce a novel family of trigonometric basis functions equipped with a shape parameter, analogous to Bernstein functions. These basis functions are employed to construct Bézier‐like curves, termed “trigo‐curves”, which retain the fundamental properties of classical Bézier curves while offering enhanced shape control through parameter adjustment ...

Weighted approximation by generalized Baskakov operators reproducing affine functions
Some extension of the Baskakov operators are introduced. The new operators reproduce affine functions. The rate of convergence of the associated approximation process is obtained in polynomial type weighted spaces. A Voronovskaja type result is included.

Approximation Properties of a New Class of Beta‐Type Szász–Mirakjan Operators
We use the new variant of Szász–Mirakjan operators to construct a generalized version of Szász‐beta type operators and obtain auxiliary lemmas. We present the weighted approximation theorems and, by using Peetre’s K‐function, the local approximation results of these operators are studied.

Asymptotic expansions for variants of the gamma and Post–Widder operators preserving 1 and xj
Recently, the authors constructed operators acting on a space of functions defined on [0,∞)$$ \left[0,\infty \right) $$ and preserving 1 and xj$$ {x}^j $$ for a given j∈ℕ$$ j\in \mathrm{\mathbb{N}} $$. To this end, they considered suitable modifications of the Post–Widder and gamma operators.

Resource Constraints Lead to Biased Attention but Decrease Unethical Behavior
ABSTRACT Subjective experiences of resource scarcity can make individuals short‐term oriented, capture attention, and trigger feelings of unfairness. However, the impact of scarcity on information processing and ethical decision‐making remains poorly understood. This eye‐tracking study explored how acute financial scarcity affects selective information

The Motherland and the Fight with Fascism: War Cult and War Film under Brezhnev (1965–82)
Abstract This article, based on extensive archival documentation, newspapers, and periodicals, examines the impact upon the Soviet film industry of shifts in top‐level policy relating to representation of the war. It contends that Leonid Brezhnev’s May 8, 1965, speech on the eve of Victory Day propounded an inclusive vision of the war (later sections ...

Simple 3D spheroid cell culture model for studies of prion infection
Gentle rocking of CAD 5 cells suspension leads to spontaneous formation of 3D spheroids, which could be cultured up to 12 weeks and infected by prions. The presence of pathological prion protein PrPTSE in the infected spheroids was confirmed by Immunohistochemistry (red arrows), western blot and by seed amplification assay.

Coefficient Bounds for q‐Noshiro Starlike Functions in Conic Region
We present and examine a new family of analytic functions that can be described by a q‐Ruscheweyh differential operator. We discuss several novel results, including coefficient inequalities and other noteworthy properties such as partial sums and radii of starlikeness.

Blending type approximation by τ-Baskakov-Durrmeyer type hybrid operators
In this work, we construct a Durrmeyer type modification of the τ-Baskakov operators depends on two parameters α > 0 $\alpha >0$ and τ ∈ [ 0 , 1 ] $\tau \in [0,1]$ .
