Assessment of Attainable Distances in Proteins by Through‐Space 19F–19F Couplings
Chemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.De novo synthesized difluorinated tryptophan analogues are site‐specifically incorporated into Cyclophilin A (CypA). 19F–19F NOESY build‐up experiments are recorded for each labeled protein, and the distances derived from cross‐relaxation rates are compared to reference distances.

N‐Sulfonyl Azalevoglucosan: A Versatile Platform for the Synthesis of Polysubstituted Piperidines
Chemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.Gain by strain: The synthesis of a levoglucosan analog, in which the pyranose oxygen has been replaced by a nitrogen, allows navigation on the piperidine ring to iteratively install functional groups at C1, C2, C3, C4, and C6 positions using simple experimental protocols with minimal protecting group manipulation.

Benzylic Oxidation of Pillar[5]Arene: From Homo‐ to Cross‐Conjugated Macrocyclic Systems
Chemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.Selective benzylic oxidations of pillar[5]arene have been carried out to generate all the possible oxidized derivatives containing from one up to five carbonyl subunits.
