Mapuzugun and Basque, Resisting Languages

This chapter explores the parallels between the histories of the Mapuche and Basque languages, two minority languages that have faced marginalization and threats to their survival. Despite predictions of their demise, both languages have experienced revitalization efforts, driven by their respective speaker communities.
