Multivariate Morphometric Analysis of Striped Bass, White Bass, and Striped Bass × White Bass Hybrids

North American Journal of Fisheries Management, 1991
Abstract Striped bass Morone saxatilis, white bass M. chrysops, and striped bass ♀ × white bass ♂ hybrids have been widely introduced into streams and reservoirs throughout the southeastern USA. BASS

Proceedings of the Seventh ACM Symposium on Cloud Computing, 2016
In an Infrastructure-as-a-Service cloud, cloud block storage offers conventional, block-level storage resources via a storage area network. However, compared to local storage, this multilayered cloud storage model imposes considerable I/O overheads due to much longer I/O path in the virtualized cloud.

Perceptive Bass Deafness

Acta Oto-Laryngologica, 1960
Many investigators have thought for a long time that bass deafness could never be of a perceptive kind. If an audiogram revealed a hearing loss for the low tones that proved to be greater than for the high tones, it was always said that this was due to an affection of the middle ear, or, in other words, the diagnosis in such a case was a conduction ...

Protein Requirements of Smallmouth Bass and Largemouth Bass

The Journal of Nutrition, 1981
Protein requirements of young smallmouth and largemouth bass reared near ideal water temperatures were estimated as an initial step in quantifying specific nutrients essential to these fishes. Test fish were conditioned to accept pelleted rations, reared in small circular tanks and fed all they would easily consume at each feeding.

Self‐Restraining Bass Models

Journal of Forecasting, 2013
We extend the classic Bass diffusion model to address the case in which existing adopters could depress the growth of adoption, i.e. the diffusion process is self‐restraining. Two modified Bass models are proposed according to whether the negative depressive effect is exerted on potential adopters or existing adopters.

Hormonal Sex Inversion in Striped Bass and White Bass × Striped Bass Hybrids

North American Journal of Aquaculture, 1999
Abstract The goal of the study was to determine the optimal androgen treatment to produce sex inversion in striped bass Morone saxatilis and white bass M. chrysops × striped bass hybrids. The androgen 17α-methyltestosterone (MT) was orally administered to fish with a dry diet or with nauplii of brine shrimp Artemia sp.

Parafoudres basse tension - Composants.
