Abstract Batanghari River is one of the fishing locations in Jambi Province, Indonesia. One of the commercial freshwater fish in this river is silver shark minnow Osteochilus vittatus. Presently, there was no study on the bioecology of this species in Batanghari river.

Fe₃O₄ nanoparticles were synthesized via a green route using Pleomele angustifolia leaf extract as a bio-reducing and capping agent. XRD analysis confirmed the structure of pure cubic spinel magnetite phase with nanoscale crystallite sizes, while slight lattice variations indicate surface interactions with phytochemicals.
