Dispatching of a Scale Nuclear Power Plant using a Battery Storage

In this work, flexible generation is investigated using conventional nuclear generation and a battery storage device. Using unique dispatching, the fixed output power provided by nuclear generation, coupled with the storage device, an equation is formulated to determine the required battery capacity for a single dispatching cycle.
